In today’s digital world, it’s simple to find whatever you’re looking for on the internet and have it to your doorstep within a few days. We take into consideration where we source our materials and furniture, who we’re supporting with our dollar, and how it impacts the environment. The idea that well-loved materials (properly sourced from the earth) have more soul is deeply rooted in our beliefs.
RECLAIMED WOOD
Have you heard? Our tables are crafted with reclaimed wood and we are very adamant about sourcing that wood locally. Our cypress wood (or more adoringly known as mushroom board) is from a local farm in Kutztown, PA. Our chestnut wood was salvaged from an old silo in Elizabethtown, PA. We purchase all our lumber from a small business owner in Ephrata, PA because, well, should is there anything more important than shopping small and supporting local?
ACCENT PIECES
Each accent piece is secondhand. We’re pretty picky when it comes to choosing which gently-used, secondhand items we add to our inventory. If you take a moment to slow down and look around, there is beauty everywhere that's not to be missed! Call it the wild thrifters in us, our eclectic taste we love adding all walks of life to our collections.
UPHOLSTERY
Together, we have decades of experience in the furniture world. We come from an inspiring community of makers. If one of our furniture pieces needs reupholstering—we have a lady. Pillows need new covers? We know someone. Supporting people and their art is kinda our thing, and when you rent our pieces it kinda becomes your thing, too.
DELIVERY
We built our business with our bare hands, and we’re really proud of that. From the build to the back-end to the long nights of deliveries and pickups, our Mr. Holmespun is a jack-of-all-trades. We take pride in the delivery services and products we provide and nothing's going to rock that standard.
